These game times. FMD.
Norwood could not have been more impressive. I saw their reserves play as well and plenty of depth.
Sturt will probably not have Wundke which is a big out. They were well beat by the Eagles in the second half last week having only three scoring shots and had 6 players with less than 10 touches.
Norwood by 10 goals.

Mark Evans will play his 150th this week. A very persistent footballer who has kicked nearly 250 goals and was the Ken Farmer medalist in 2018, and possibly the smallest player to have won it since it being named in 1981.

Cameron Shenton plays his 100th this week. Shenton also had four years at St Kilda and whilst there won a best and fairest with their then VFL side Sandringham. Just goes about his game and is very reliable, now playing mostly as a defender.

Think this a genuine 50/50 game, which makes me lean toward the home side. Rightly or wrongly, these are my reasons:
- Norwood an excellent win last week, but question marks over the quality of the opposition they beat.
- Sturt stuck with the reigning premiers for 3/4's away from home, that to me suggests theyre better than many think.
- Sturt due for a win against Norwood, and especially at home.
- Think Mattner will see Sturt being hard to beat at home most weeks, and certainly in their first home game.
Obviously both sides have to get through selection yet which could have a bearing on the result, but expect this should be a decent contest.

This game was originally being broadcast on Channel 7, correct.
But the SANFL weekly media release advises that C7 are now covering the AFLW at the expense of the SANFL coverage.
Chris Kendall and a guest will be covering this game on the SANFL Digital Pass platform.

Good, hard fought win. Low scoring but a pretty decent game I thought. Real high pressure arm wrestle and thankfully we came out on top.

From what I saw - Skills look a bit down on what we've been accustomed to the last decade, but tackling and physical application looked quality. To be fair to Sturt they never threw in the towel and were very honest, perhaps lacked a bit of polish. Take the points and move on to a desperate North next weekend.
