This could be our first 100 plus loss for a very long time.

Wins at Elizabeth have been few & far between in my years of going. When we do win it’s never a blow out.

Trouble is, we're a very short side, we need to get the ball and somehow keep it from Glenelg & run flat out all day. A huge ask!

Like we did against North a fortnight ago.... Barreau & Gillard back in gives us a little more marking power than last week and looking forward to see how young Cannizzaro goes after being impressed with him in the ressies last year.

I’m expecting us to take it up to the Bays today and while a win might be too much to ask for I don’t see anything like a 100 point thrashing on the cards.

'Dogs by three to four goals, provided they don't have a repeat of last week or they'll get cleaned up faster than braised steak on a toasted sandwich.

That reminds me - years ago I said if the Bays ever won another flag, I'd find a copy of the game where the Bays kicked 1.4 at the Parade and watch it again. Any idea where I could find a copy this many years after the event? I reckon I'd need a copy of your game too (Norwood's 1.3) to watch immediately after 8)

Margin flattered us in the end. Despite having a crack and not giving in the Bays were a class above us. Too big too strong too good. Great to see Super amble his way to the Centrals past players tent at half time..

Absolutely the margin flattered us if Glenelg had got reward on the scoreboard for their domination it wouldve been a huge loss.Dont know what game we are trying to play, against North we ran to space moved the ball quickly and got rewarded .Today against a team that were quite clearly bigger and stronger than us we kicked to a lot of one on ones and had no chance .

Yes and no. The margin probably about right given both sides had the goalkicking yips given the conditions, and that Glenelg looked like they could drop the boot at any time during the last half and a bit but didn't. Would have been worse without Hosko out there.

Bays must have been looking for a yellow path starting from a spriral in the centre square such was the height and build difference.

Our lads had a go for a good part of the game and there were certainly some clever bits of play but the finishing needs improvement, evident in the last quarter when the Glenelg appeared to tire or back off the pedal but our boys couldn't take full scoreboard advantage of a couple of movements into the 50.

Got a couple back after being eight goals down (the game's biggest margin) early in the last so not too unhappy.

Can't complain about the umps at all, seemed to be rewarding the players making the play without being overly technical.

Effectively one goal seven in a game of footy. Let's hope we don't see that too often.
