Norwood first to the footy

Winning the free kicks and the qtr, deservedly
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

5.7 to 1.1 that quarter for a 42 point lead at 1/2 time.
Again a bit wasteful infront of goals, probably should have almost put this one to bed

Last 8 goals to win by a point. I'd given up on my money. Thank you Glenelg (and Norwood).
Good result for North too. 8)

I said weeks ago that Norwood won’t play finals. North are certainties to make the 5

First half gave so much hope. 2nd half was unbearable. That one hurts.

North are just going at the moment. Even if they do make the five they would only be making up the numbers on current form.

It was the result we had to have, i dont think i wouldve survived another week of positive posts from Jim about Essendon and Norwood, order has been restored, its far more entertaining when they suck, now if only South would follow the same path ;)

At least Essendon played with some heart. Norwood are softer than butter

Work rate changed the game. Not evident in the first half, Norwood played the percentages, weren’t cute, first to the ball. We were lazy, wouldn’t shepherd or choose the first option. Not sure what was said at the main break but there was a big jump in effort & desire. Norwood started looking tired midway through the third qtr & we were getting first use of the ball a lot & had a sniff. Still 16 pts down at 3qt & coming home into the wind it took a tough effort to get the win. Glenelg kicked the last 8 goals of the match.
Halftime celebrations were a bit over the top from a few I thought & the less said about the one sided umpiring the better…
