Once again we got away to a poor start ,got away with it last week but against a good side like Norwood it is to hard to get back .TDJ44 as for selection you are spot on i wonder which of the big blokes will get dropped next week for a small to come in.Not counting Hosko who will return

Thought it was a fair call given the weather conditions. And Grahams game in the ressies didn't give the selectors reason to think they got it wrong.

As for the slow start... both league and reserves were 4 goal to zero down after 11 minutes. And both sides failed to take a single mark in that time.

Jarrad Schiller pulled out with a calf injury. Perfect conditions for him.

Our defence is really coming together with Morton and Llewellyn outstanding and Haydon keeping Barry quiet.
Grace looked really busy but would be disappointed that he didn't finish with 4 or 5 goals.

The newly refurbished opposition changing rooms (yes, that's plural!) at Norwood are really quite impressive.

Solid win but nothing to rave about. Scoreboard flattered us a bit especially after 1/4 time. Centrals seemed to dominate and control the ball for large periods but simply don’t have a forward line currently capable of kicking a winning score. Dogs would have won most of the stats including inside 50’s but 4 of their 5 goals come in 1 quarter and they looked fairly toothless up front apart from that brief period

With 2.8 to 1.9 (ie, 3.17 between them) I think it's fair to say neither side left too many teeth marks on the scoreboard after half time.

Five different goal scorers for the 'Dogs, spread over about a quarter (between about 13 minute marks of the second and third quarters).

Spot on about the inside 50s:- https://sanfl.com.au/league/matches/113 ... wing=teams

The 'Dogs gave themselves a bit of a shot by keeping the home side to just a couple of points (one of those was rushed) for about 35 minutes of footy, from before half time to early in the last, while picking up a few from themselves.
