Eagles comimg off a loss and Adelaide had a win over Port.

First time around the Eagles won by 14 goals.

Lonergan may miss and the depth at Woodville will take care of that.

Eagles by 10 goals.

No dramas, but just need one more win to secure a 2nd or 3rd place on the premiership table.

There have been some stunning reversals of fortune in this season so nothing is a given. The only exception seems to be Glenelg but that might come in the grand final

Is it a bit strange that this game clashes with Crows in Melb? Would constrain their reserves etc. Not that I really care.

The time of the AFL game was only announced on Wednesday, whilst the Eagles have had their carnival day lined up on the Sunday for a while.

I am not sure that an AFL team would have bothered about that if they had wanted a time change to suit them. Their 4000 fans have probably been told to stay away.

I hope we get told if the gates are closed due to the family carnival and crowd numbers

Most of those that are there early for the carnival are leaving before the league game starts anyway.

No offence meant but carnival is a great word to describe a match between these two clubs. 8)

This sort of day makes a mockery of "crowd attendance" figures
