That one might end up hurting us. Bays have a good player if he can realise his potential.

Thought he did ok at the Eagles but a pretty tough side to stay in so no shock he is seeking opportunities elsewhere

Pierce Seymour certainly sounds like he should be playing at Norwood.

Pierce did originally play at Norwood in U18s and a few reserves games circa 2014 prior to returning to PNU

I found him a very good player. Would have made most sides unfortunately he had a few good contenders for the position he plays. Also can play both ends of the ground. Will be missed. I haven't heard anything from the club about it yet.

I agree - a very good player. Far too good to be playing reserves.

In 2020 he was the victim in the last few games of the need to rejig to a smaller, faster backline
In 2021 he was forced out halfway through the season due to the decision by Sheedy to throw Cameron into the defence.

I thought with Giuffreda retiring there would be a big opportunity for him.

Great kick, very competitive. Probably only knock is that he is a tad slow.

He will be a regular player for Norwood and wish him well.

Port Adelaide have added Joshua Sinn from Sandringham Dragons / Xavier College so will be an IN for the Magpies, when not playing AFL for the Power.

Deserves to play League, but not best 22 for the Eagles. Good for him and good get for Norwood.

Not a player but hopefully North will improve at getting 3 pointers from outside the arc.

The North Adelaide Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of former NBL player, premiership coach and Olympian, Phil Smyth to work with our senior coaching group, using his vast experience and knowledge gained over many years in high performance sport, to assist in their development for the 2022 season.
We look forward to his input and welcome him to the North Adelaide Football Club.

Does anyone know how many more afl drafts there are for the 2022 season?
Is there a preseason draft scheduled for early next year and a mid season draft?

AFL clubs can invite players to train with them over pre-season, with the possibility of adding them to their list. This can happen anytime between now and March. Generally a few SANFL players will end up on an AFL list through this approach - with one of these normally being South Adelaide's ruckman. After that is the mid-season draft in June.
