Just walked past CIBO on The Parade and that looks like Dylan Clarke ex Essendon having a latte with some Norwood chaps.

Your eyes didn’t deceive you. My understanding is that he was going to have a crack over here. Thought he might have got another crack at AFL

Not sure whether Kobe Mutch's time at Essendon coincided with his own time on their list. Hopefully Kobe can put in a good word about the Eagles!

reports that Centrals have signed a young NT player Jamie Jones.

Tall, athletic can play Ok in defence.

Will need to develop the ability to take an overhead mark, 2nd efforts and the confidence not to "pause" before the contest.

Has the athletic talent. Reserve grader IMO ATM

For JJs and Centrals sake hope I'm wrong

They played a bit of VFL together.
Dylan still apparently has a few AFL sides in contact with him and is wanting to be picked up mid year which I why I did find it strange that he is looking to move here for a few months

SANFL have just updated their "coming and going" article and Chris Jansen is no longer listed as an "in" for Norwood. Is that just a mistake in teh article, or does anyone know where CJ has gone? An AFL list somewhere I suppose?

The Norwood Football Club would like to advise its members and supporters that midfielder Chris Jansen will not be returning to the football club in Season 2022.

Jansen signed with Norwood in November 2021, following stints at Port Melbourne and North Melbourne in the VFL.

Unfortunately due to changing employment circumstances, Chris has advised the football club that he will be unable to relocate to South Australia for the 2022 season.

“We have been in constant dialogue with Chris regarding his employment from prior to when he signed with the club,” Football Services Manager Rob Harding said.

“While it is unfortunate that Chris’s work situation has changed and he is unable to join us this season, we will remain in contact with Chris throughout the year and should his circumstances change we would love to have him return to our football club.

“We wish him all the best for this year.”

Just in

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of hard running midfielder Dylan Clarke.
After being delisted at the end of the 2021 season by Essendon, Clarke continued to train with the club up until recently with the hope of being resigning through the Pre-Season Supplementary Selection period. The 23-year-old has spent the previous five seasons at Essendon, playing 24 AFL matches after being drafted from the Eastern Ranges.
CEO Luke Powell said on Clarke’s signing, “We are delighted to have Dylan commit to the Club. To be able to attract a player of Dylan’s calibre so close to the season is a great result for all parties. Dylan is a person of tremendous character who will fit in to our culture really well and I know he is looking forward to having a great season.”
On joining the Club Clarke said, “I’m really excited to be joining such a great Club in the Eagles. The playing group have been fantastic in welcoming me in to the Club. I was attracted by the prospect of being coached by Sheeds and I’m really looking forward to help the Club succeed.”
Please join us in welcoming Dylan to the Woodville West Torrens Football Club.

I think that Luke P and the recruiting committee deserve premiership medals for the way in which they have "assembled" the Eagle teams of the past two years. So maybe a triple is not too far fetched.
