I remember her playing with my brother years ago in the old Magpies school interzone footy, back then she put some of the boys to shame.

The U18 and U16 Torrens University Cup fixtures have been released, with the U16 fixture stretching until September for the first time.

Previously consisting of seven minor round matches before a Grand Final in May, the Torrens University U16 season will now mirror the U18s by including 18 minor rounds before concluding on August 20.

Finals for both grades will follow this, with dates, venues and times to be confirmed later in the season.

The majority of matches for the U18s and U16s will be played on Saturdays, with the same teams playing at the same venue one after the other.

Round 4 will include Eagles and West clashing on Easter Thursday night ahead of the remaining three games in both grades being contested on Good Friday

Be interesting to see how a full under 16s program affects some local clubs ability to fill sides every week and will make for some interesting scores as well I think.

I know how it will affect most clubs. Badly.

Sad to see the women doggies heading backwards as well. Were on the cusp of finals last year after a few initial years being behind the ball because of the late entry to the comp.

This year they look to be a bit of the pace.....hopefully they can turn it around.

Shouldve tried to keep the old coach. Player power isnt always the right answer

I don't follow it close enough to know the ins/outs just was hoping to see them have their first crack at finals this year.

Yeah lots of time yet but they lost to South who then lost to North. Also lost to Norwood semi comfortable (by womens standards) who were belted by Glenelg.

Fingers crossed though they can get a few wins.
