R4 Port v Sturt

Sunday 2.05 which will be the 51st date time combination in the last 3 years.

Port coming off a close loss and Sturt coming off a win against South.

Port will have played their AFL game the previous day so Port will have a few more to chose from.

I have been impressed with Sturt and am leaning to them thus far. James Richards who has been very good thus far the only injury concern for Sturt.

Perhaps Sturt by 3 goals.

Coomblas is a big out. He’s been a key member of our defence.

Will be a close one.

Sturt by 8 pts.

Thought Sturt looked very impressive v South last week at Noarlunga.

Port with a few "ins" that will test the Double Blues this week.

Still think Sturt could be the surprise packet this year. Very well coached side IMO.

Sturt by 2 goals.

The only way Sturt will surprise is by not winning the premiership...

That's right. It was Sturt that beat Glenelg at Glenelg. The press had it wrong.

C'mon you guys. Your deflecting has been terrible this year. No stout for you.

Always good to see PA winless. :D Luckily they have an easy match next week. Glenelg

Followed by your mob
I think they may charge home later in the year but at 0-6 they won’t be playing finals

Disappointing crowd.

Sturt far too composed when it mattered, played in front in blustery conditions and were rewarded for doing so. Good game of footy though.

Started watching it this morning whilst in lounge awaiting flight. Pretty good game from what I’ve seen so far

Sturt did well, given they lost 6 players to Covid isolation.
Port talented but a young side, they seem to be just falling short.
a good game of football in warm conditions.
In a bizarre incident, a partially clothed male streaker invaded the arena and made the security blokes look fat and slow (actually one didn't even bother to get off the fence) . Ended up being tackled by a Port player (Weed's son I think) which I don't think he was expecting a player to put him down. Benny Hill comedy though for a while...
