R8 Central v Glenelg

Postby DOC » Wed May 25, 2022 6:32 pm

Saturday 2.10.

Glenelg coming off a win (but only against South) whilst Centrals put in a much improved effort at Norwood.

Centrals will be sweating on the fitness of Fraser Fort whilst Glenelg's Lachie Hosie is at the tribunal facing a striking charge. I expect him to get off.

Glenelg have won the last three at Elizabeth and I expect them to make it 4.

Glenelg by 8 goals.

This could get very, very ugly we simply cant win .McBean will probably kick his customary 6-7 goals which is what we score as a whole team .Hopefully we at least make Glenelg earn their win otherwise we could be looking at a minimum 10 goal loss

The Bays don't play Elizabeth well, recent results notwithstanding, and it's going to pour. Glenelg by under 4 goals.

I heard James is Boyd is back to have a crack at first ruck....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Bays' League team to score more than our League and Reserves combined, sadly.

Given the referenced song is from 1975 it is of no surprise that most don't get it.

But maybe this verse will come into play tomorrow

Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget today's pain
