Yes how Frederick was allowed to play after being the Medi Sub is crap. The boys tried their hearts out and in the end Ports size around the ground and up forward made a difference .

Good effort by Centrals. Plenty of names in that Port line up. Dudley showed enough to suggest he could be a very good player at SANFL level - similar to James Rowe.

Saw the game and thought it wasn't Port's size that made the difference in the end but rather Centrals poor delivery going forward. Thought the dogs were playing slightly better footy in the last quarter and a half and would run over the Power. But lots of dumb kicks forward without looking and poor disposal that sit in on your forward's head meant no amount of forward entries was going to work. Smarter footy would have got Centrals over the line.

That's pretty normal for us,our use of the footy going forward is terrible.

Found a couple of positional moves puzzling yesterday ,Neagle is a HBF and yet he spent the game across Half Forward and looked lost.Buechner who we picked up as a key defender to match up on the big opposition forwards played forward as well. Also not sure what role Olsson has in the side if he is in as a small forward then we need more out of him scoring wise .

Burgoyne with MOTY contender. He seemed pretty happy with it

A great mark (hanger on the wing) by Burgoyne and loved the big smile on his face after he took it. Made it look easy!

I was always told the difference between Port and Centrals supporters is that Centrals supporters are happy to steal cars that Port supporters would not touch. :)
