There was actually a really good interpretation of the last clear disposal out of bounds law and its interpretations where a Port player bumped a Glenelg Player off the ball in the forward pocket next to the bowling club therefore preventing him from touching it before it went out of bounds. Port player went to take a kick in but was asked to hand it over the boundary umpie for a throw in.

The last dot point of the interpretation states https://sanfl.com.au/juniors/news/last-possession-out-of-bounds/; Where a Player who does not have possession stops the football being touched by an Opposition Player by Shepherding the ball across the Boundary Line where the ball could have otherwise been touched by the player being blocked, then the umpire will not award a free kick but will instead order a boundary throw in.

I agree with Booney, a well umpired (not perfect) but well umpired game.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

83 more kicks, 48 more handballs, 93 more marks, 16 more inside 50’s, 9 of the top 10 players for disposals.
Snook best on ground followed by Hosie who kicked 5, Murdoch & Bailey.
Nice drive back down Tapley’s amongst a sea of black & gold scarves hanging out car windows.
