Its being driven by Glenelg, its clever as they are unlikely to get the 10k however just by the promotion they will likely turn a probably 4k crowd into 6-7k

Has it been promoted to the Sturties at all? I figure they're more likely to respond than neutrals.

And the weather might turn that 6-7 k back into 5k, tops. Let's hope not.

@Pseudo, given the weather forecast, will you remind the club to top up the Stout order or shall I.... ;)

Never been to a women's game, as much as it's good to celebrate their flag last year its not for me. My good friend got the Premiership Tshirt too, he goes to most matches.
No hats or Tshirts for North's girls this year, that honor goes to Centrals or South playing at Prospect Oval this Sunday.

Only a limited amount were available to friends and family, most went to the girls.
12 months ago now.
Premiership Tshirts are sold out, but the pic is still on the website if you want to reminisce on our 22 flag.
Must be confusing for a Port supporter seeing other clubs successful at different levels in both mens and womens comps. ;)

Round 9, Norwood winning, Sturt going down (putting it mildly.) With the CDFC ladies' flag, a weekend of firsts.

Also, three League results with 23 point margins.

There we go. Spot on, over 7k. A nice afternoon for it. Well done to Glenelg for some promotion and for the big win in front of a big crowd.

Well done to the club and SANFL for the promotion of the game

Whilst not the reason it all helps when selling the club to potential recruits

Want to play in front of decent crowds (compared to the VFL)
Want to play in a team that is a realistic chance of premiership success*
Want to play at a club that is happy for you to get re-drafted if you're good enough
Want to play and live by the beach

Whilst it doesn't guarantee successful recruiting as money does talk too, the above makes the selling easier.

I reckon Port v Norwood can get 5K this weekend given no Crows and Port playing Thursday night.

*yeah yeah I know nothing's guaranteed especially with us but right now the window is open wide.

Especially with the Norwood bandwagonners hopping back on after a return to winning form?

That $251 on the reigning premiers is worth some thought. What's the minimum bet?

Bays v Sturt 7285, crimes we even get 4500 to an Eagles game.

South Freo v East Freo 1800 (admirably in Shizen weather)

The SANFL isn’t perfect but with all its faults it’s so far and away the best competition outside the AFL it isn’t funny

Serious question, are more WA people aligned to AFL clubs, hence less interest in the WAFL teams?

Yeah I spoke to some Freo fans at Gather Round and they told me predominately South Freo fans follow the Dockers while everyone else including a lot of East Freo fans followed the Eagles.
