The kids presenting medals after the game were wearing what looked like South guernseys with a stylized panther design. What's the story with these kids, why were they chosen to present the medals?

They won the U/12 knockout cup at half time.

Could have been both as both South teams won.
They didn't present the medals as far as I could see.

That's right, they didn't present medals, but gave the players a guard of honour when going to collect the medals.

Speaking of which; Pedlers somersault was a highlight of the medal presentation.
