Pretty sure he played in the first trial and assume he picked up an injury either then or since.
From what I’ve seen in the trials Hugo should get the nod if fit. Along with Billy and Grace (who’s been on fire the last two weeks in particular) we will have some decent marking strength up forward. Whether Pearce also squeezes in will depend on balance I guess but nice to have the option…

Hopefully we will be but expect South to get some real quality back in their side

Yeah, that's some class to come back in.

Knew Gibbsy wasn't there as I heard him on SEN calling the Power v Lions game.

Thats why South wouldnt have worried about their result against us.
Playing them in Round 1 will be entirely different and a big challenge .
