Post your comments here!

* A pre season tournament, instead of trial games. All night games at Thebby, Elizabeth and maybe Norwood or Wayville.

* No more double headers as finals, maybe one or two could be night games.

* A game Good Friday (night)

* Better promotion of the league, and get rid of that Get one free clown.
( Also the adverts saying have a kick on the Oval at half time ??? WTF)

* Spend some money on SANFL venues ie a big shed shelter at Noarlunga, lighting at Thebby instead of pouring so much into Football Park.

Don't get me started on Good Friday, its a travesty that no footy is on that day.
Sick of the religious freaks that tell me its a family day, bullshit, every religious family I know spend the Sunday together.
Just about every other sport in the world plays games on Good Friday.
In a multi cultural society its a joke we don't play on Good Friday.
If we were consistent and not racist we'd also refuse to play a game on Saturday to appease the Jews.

The SANFL have got a huge chance to lead the AFL in this one but I doubt they will.

What an opportunity it is. Day or night match? Grand Final rematch?
Never give a sucker an even break

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

Agree wholeheartedly.

I'd say more - but I don't want to offend anyone.

A proper mini league competition like they used to have in the 70s.

Publish the Mini league ladder each week and it will create some interest!

I agree with having a game on Good Friday. Perhaps more flexible programming to allow big games to get the audience they deserve. Otherwise, I thought the SANFL did a really good job of the programming this year. Maybe an earlier game at Woodville for the Eagles than was the case this year. Loved the 3 games at Thebby and I hope they can continue!

More matches at footy park, we paid for it, not the crowes and the power.

Minor rounds on non afl days. All finals there as well.

I'll state the phucking obvious

A Bays League Flag.....(not one that the Cheer squad waves either.......)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yes a game at Woodville before round 7 next season would be fantastic.

FFS you had about 10 home games this year as opposed to North's 7 and still only beat us on the table by %.

  They can bulldoze Nazi stadium for all I care, the place sucks, I can understand not being able to have a smoke in a all seated stadium, but surely I could have a beer in my seat, the kids could have a kick at 1/4 & 3/4 time (goes for Adelaide as well), U18's should be allowed out to help hold up a banner, christ, banners and cheer squads, it's (or should be) all about the kids.
AAMI would have to be the least "fan friendly" stadium in the country.

Give me Home & Away games exactly that, Home & Away,

move nuetral games to Thebby (after giving it a score board, time clock, and toilets IN the ground),

first 2 weeks of finals, play them at the highest finishing teams home ground,

then on to Adelaide for the Prelim, and either Adelaide or AAMI for the GF.

* Pre-season cup to replace meaningless trials.
* More games at Thebarton (4 Eagles home games + neutral)
* All finals at Adelaide Oval (incl Grand Final)
* Anzac Day @ Thebarton Oval
* Under 18's competition to replace existing 17's & 19's concept.
* League starting time 2pm to replace current start time of 2-20pm

On an Eagles note I'd like to play more Friday night footy, a game at Woodville before round 7.

Let Sturt lead by 5 goals before the game starts....at least that way our percentage might not be as bad come seasons end!

No Byes but that is impossible

GF to be played at Adelaide Oval

Finals leading up to Prelim to be played at the home venue of the side that finished higher on the ladder, Prelim and GF to be played at Adelaide oval

Greater recognition of SANFL history, heritage and rivary rounds would be fantastic, once again the bye makes it difficult

State Footy to be State of Origin, not comp v comp

Review the finals qualification criteria for AFL listed players

Each side to play a home game in there county zone

greedy to ask for another Centrals premiership? Can the SANFL arrange that?

From my perspective - more country games. It's probly not a cost winner for the clubs - but it's great for development and developing links with country kids.
I hear the Riverland's trying to get one next year - and even if the Dogs aren't playing i'll be there to watch (if the club I play for isn't scheduled that weekend of course).

A preseason knockout series bewteen SANFL WAFL VFL & NT teams with the majority of games played prior to AFL pre season games. Use the AFL preseason rules eg 9 pt goals etc.. WWT could be playing Sandringham before a Crows/St Kilda NAB Cup night match at AAMI - you would have the SANFL teams on display before a 30,000 crowd - good for the SANFL, great exposure for the various SANFL clubs sponsors, variety for the players. Gives some profile & substance to the various state leagues at the start of the season.
