That is the one spot that held water. I assume that photo was taken during the reserves game when it did rain as it was not holding water (still muddy) during the league.

Have they changed the ground in recent years, it used to always be sand based which despite making it look good make it feel like an ice rink and there was never that darker dirt/mud I can see in the pic.

Our ground like most others has many more hours of training/playing due to the rise of womens games. Just wear and tear.

We have built a second oval over the fence at the school in order to help take some pressure off.
