Hey guys,

For any Legs supporters (or any other supporters who might be interested) who don't frequent the club Forum, the club is having Christmas drinks this Friday evening in the Premiers Bar from 7pm onwards ... There will be drink specials and Karoake in place and it sounds as though there will be a pretty tidy turn-up!

As mentioned above, any other clubs supporters are also welcome if they are interested!

Cheers,
CP

Since I live a few hundred metres from Norwood Oval Constance, I would certainly poke my head in to say g'day to yourself and others that may show. I will wear a blue Indianapolis Colts NFL top with the number 18 of Peyton Manning on it.

Thats great news ORDB, will be excellent to finally meet you ... I'll even try and keep the Colts choking jokes to a minimum

Doh!! Otherwise got something else on that night...but normally I can't be held back from karaoke (actually, its probably a good thing now that I'm not available in that respect...my rendition of Addicted To Love gets interesting after a few Pales...)

Premier Bar ? Is that the Rennicks tent you promote as your clubrooms ?
Bring your own Chardonnay ?

Maybe we could ask the WWTFC if they could host it for us in their "Bridesmaid Bar" if thats easier for you? ;-)

The Eagles got a lot closer than seven other teams remember. Acknowledged, the Eagles have under achieved. I recall Norwood having similar traits in the 80's, albeit not making the GF as consistently. Trevor Hill will need to be a better Coach than he ever was as a player in his brief stint at Thebbie in the 80's.

Thebbie69, what the hell did that have to do with drinks on Friday night?

CP's third comment. Although it was a joke - I think.

Thebbie69, he must have had North in his heart (despite wanting to play for Norwood) as he was a fantastic player for North either side of his stint for the Eagles.
I thought he did well enough for Torrens in the games I went and watched in those years too.

Was good to meet Constance, Falconchick and U Legs. Seemed to be a slightly dissapointing turn out for what was expected but I guess it is that time of year when parties and other events are in full swing. Quality performance all night by U Legs behind the microphone and he certainly helped me out when I was up there.

Cracker of a night, Even I pierced the ears of all the norwood supporters with a song or two, sober to boot....thats sad.

ORDB - fantastic effort from yourself, even though you were drowned out for the best part by your singing partner in crime.

CP - Please promise me you will never pick up a microphone again..Maddona isnt quite your style my friend!

" Cheer, Cheer the black and the white...."

FC I thought your efforts were inspiring and a welcome improvement on a second rate CP who took lip syncing to even lower heights than it was before. :P :P :P :P :P

Funnily enough I looked for one of their numbers

As for you great Bald man, I have no shame in being more uncomfortable in holding some 6 inch oblong shaped instrument further from my lips than others!!!
