Previous years we've lost to the Roosters at Prospect when the game was televised and pouring with rain. The game isn't being televised and it won't be raining, we might be in with a chance to beat the Roosters!

If we can keep the Roosters to under 7 goals we are in with a chance.

North by 20 points. :(

Unbeaten, top of the table, already knocked off both of last year's Grand Finalists ... :-??

Whereas North has only played one of last year's Grand Finalists which they did manage to defeat.
Maybe North have already played this year's Grand Finalists.
I think that the game revolves around how much Boyd dominates which he normally does against North.
Hoy is not in Boyd''s class bit at least he is a genuine ruckman. He allows Harvey to play in his correct position where he is always a threat.
Panos is a big out for Norwood.
North still have an excellent midfield trio in Wigg, Combe and Mayes.
I am obviously trying to make a case for North. I would be very disappointed if it were Norwood in a canter. If North showed their form from the first quarter last week they would win, but they are still producing too many turnovers.

Problem I see is that we dont punish turnovers and score goals. It will only take a side to score more than 7 or 8 goals and we would be in trouble. Norwood's defence is what is winning us games at the moment. We have the best defence in the league but only South have scored less.

North $3.70 - $2.50 in early betting. Looks like the Nw footy trip $$$ are on

$3.70 would have been the right price after the first two rounds. I asked a prominent bookmaker what price North and he said $2,20 given North's last 2 weeks form. He may well have snapped up the $3.70. I certainly haven't.
Time will tell.
Traditionally Norwood play well at Prospect and North play well at Norwood. That was certainly the case in the last halcyon days of the SANFL in the 1980s.

It may have been wedgie who got the money on. He loves a good plunge at Prospect and leading the grog squad in full voice

I’d feel more comfortable if we had a few more on the bench.

Feeling North win this one by around 4 goals. We’re not big scorers even with Panos and Callow, so if Notth can slot 10 or more I’d say we’re done. Hopefully wrong, the boys have a good crack, but I watched SANFL Port yesterday who we squeezed past last week and they were putrid.
