Just a question, why is this game a 1.10 start?

Reckon he will get a couple.

3/4 time

CD 8.5
SA 3.3

Dogs with the last 6 goals. South's last major came half way through the first term. Pretty dull game overall.

Dogs home by 63 points in the end. Very happy with that as we were a bit vulnerable having 4 of our defenders from last week all sidelined with injury.
Grant continued his 100% win record for the season and had great support from Liddy, Wilson and Dittmar. Pudney was prolific on the wing. Dudley was very busy and dangerous up fwd and is working a treat with Grace and Gasper. Howe continues to develop as our main ruck hope.
Louie McLellan played a very similar game to his older bro and did it well. I suspect he did enough to hold a spot so they can play alongside each other in a fortnight.
Full marks to Lange who played down back today.
7 and 3 heading into the bye with several key players due to return. We are travelling alright.

Very pleasing win after a sluggish start ,to hold them to 1 goal after 1/4 time was excellent.
Agree that Harvey Howe is developing nicely and again it was a really good team effort and picked up valuable percentage
Only downside i think Thommo will be in trouble for his 1st quarter bump.

Undersized, inexperienced and overpowered.
Boys playing the men.
Lost Skinner shoulder/back and Dunkin-to concussion protocols ??... before half time. The transgressor in the Dunkin incident - if the tribunal is consistent, should receive 3-4 weeks Id suggest.
Centrals absolutely flogged us at the clearances and inside 50s.they will be about the place come September.
we had too many non contributors but with 7-8 players out injured it exposes our lack of depth with youngsters being thrown in the deep end before they are ready. The pain will continue for Panther fans I'm afraid.

Dittmar leads all Dog players in season totals for Clearances and Tackles. He goes alright.

Aged well

Dogs are well placed with the bye acting as a great re-set.
Whitelum, McLennan, Posthuma, Monaghan and Presbury are all expected back after the bye and Barreau, Kendall, Pearce, East and Chisholm in the 2 or 3 weeks after that. At least 7 of these would make our best 22 (although it's hard to think of 7 from yesterday that you would drop).

IMO how close East and Chisholm can get to 100% will determine how deep we go in Finals. We forget these two would be in our best 10 players and they haven't played one minute this season. It will be a big ask to expect too much, but they are both determined to have an impact upon returning.

Fair summary. Other than a 10-15 minute period in the first term which yielded 3 goals it was a performance devoid of many positives. Was quite laborious to watch, a lot of passages featuring indirect and short kicking before the ball was turned over with a skill error.

Fitt, Mutch, Sampson and Emile-Brennan named best by the club. Of the younger players, thought Hindes presented well and took 7 marks.

As predicted, Beau Thomas cops a two week suspension for his bump on the weekend.
Ironically it was the first free kick paid against him in 7 league games this year!!!!

I'd take that. Very disappointing at the time, Beau played a fantastic game and is in good form, will be missed. Dumb act.

Contact was not high. The player subsequently came off with an injured groin (???). If he had concussion then an extra game would have been added as per Dixon.
