7 missing from last year’s premiership side, plugging gaps everywhere & not playing well. Sturt have won 8 on the trot. Would be a major upset if we won.

Speaking of not playing well, what's a Bays supporter's view of Will Gould's season so far? There was some chatter in the press about him using it as a springboard to try to get back into the AFL.

I notice he didn't make the cut for either state team either.

I don't think he's played badly per se. He has however been used as a pinch hitter, playing through (almost) every position as the need has arisen. This hasn't helped him to settle down into the side.

Two gaps in particular are concerning:
- First choice full forward Hosie out for the season.
- First choice ruckman Cam McGree out for a cuppla weeks.
Losing Cam has the knock-on effect that McBean will likely spend time in the ruck. All of a sudden Glenelg's Cerberus-like forward line is looking more like a pound puppy.

So, playing devils advocate, good enough to warrant a place in the side, but not good enough to have taken a role and made it his own.

despite all our injury concerrns we still look pretty good, gunna take some of the $2.70 on offer, go tiges!

edit: eff the $2.70, gunna take the $4.20 1-24pts, conditions will be ugly so it wont be a big margin either way
