You would think the Bays but both have had losses to sides outside the 5 in the past month so who knows.

Since the humiliation of the 2021 GF, Bays have had the wood over the Eagles winning 5 out of 6 games.
Expect Bays to be too strong against a dysfunctional Eagles.

I would like to disagree with you wedgetail but I can’t dysfunctional or zero plan B.

So the Eagles continue their record of never having missed finals three times in a row, albeit in the most unconvincing of circumstances.
7 losses in their past 8. I can't think of any finalist at SANFL or AFL level with that record heading into finals. @spell_check ?

Bays by the length of ANZAC Highway. If it’s dry they will give the 70 point margin a nudge

Woodville lost their last 5 in 1987 and were bundled out by the Bays by 100 points in the Elimination Final.

All 8 teams played on Saturday last weekend, so all teams have an equal break leading into the finals. No AFL games on anywhere in the country next weekend. So why the hell not play the first week of finals on the Saturday - instead of starting one at midday on bloody Fathers' day?
/rant.

Other Leagues, Amateur, SAFA, district games etc would be on Saturday so having the finals on Sunday will maximize attendance.
