Echo consumers report SANFL clubs to the cops for rape.

The issue is not of great concern to me as I consume alcoholic refreshments at games on an irregular basis.
However when I do I am being raped at 4.50 a can (correct me if im wrong). For a game of suburban football I find it steep or at the very least a very steadily acending hill.
I think they could reduce the cost to 3-350 and significantly increase sales with the possibility of lowering coke bottle smuggling which would in turn increase liqour sales.
What are peoples views on the price we are charged for this socially acceptable drug?
Has anyone got a suggestion better?
Or are you happy paying pub prices for bottom end of the market beer out of an esky at Indian Palaces and like venues?

Is it really $4.50 for a can of beer? It has obviously been awhile since I had a beer at the footy

Just hide them under your scarfes, that's what I usually do, they don't look down that far when they check my bag.

Did not even bother with that ME the last time at Adelaide drapped my jacket over my arm and had cans in two of my jacket pockets did not even glance at my jacket
Seeing a diet coke was 3.50 or 3.60 highway robbery

Those of you smuggling cans should keep it to yourself. We dont want people reading this and cracking down on jacket pockets.

I don't take cans to Adelaide or AAMI, just plastic bottles.
