Your a coach of a league footaball side and u receive information that a Key Position Player is seen out at 6am playing a card game with a alcholic drink in hand. The player has been an intergral player for your club over many years....
what is your decision

not an issue this time of year, or even if it is anytime except 48 hours before a game

Is this the night before (morning of) a game ding? If so, depends on whether or not they have any priors. If there is a history, then it could be time to say farewell.
With no priors, a fine at worst. Perhaps make him train in the nude.
If it wasn't pre-game, then good luck to him.

Wouldn't have played if it became known prior to the game. Then I would have sacked him without any explanation to our supporters...

It was 5.00 a.m. and he wasn't the only player out either.

It was just the excuse they needed to give him the push.
Not grenville

Well that is the truth so choose to believe what you will but trust me I know alot more on this and other North issues than the endless rumours that do the rounds. PM Wedgie he will vouch for my credibility.

P.S. They didn't - he played the next week in the Prelim and only got sacked Friday of last week. You do the maths Einstein? Trust me this was just the lever they needed to oust him. There is more to it than one night out late! Surely that is obvious?
