Sturt needs:

KPP's, oh god, do we need these players...preferably 1 at each end (HF and HB)
2 tough, hard in and under midfielders

If Sturt can find these players and they turn out to be quality SANFL standard then we will win more than 3 games next year
With some young players coming up and some senior players return to form then Sturt can expect to finish higher than 8th (like maybe 7th )
I dont think Sturt are going to find any answers for their KPP needs in the 2's. Any of these players floating around in the 19's or 17's are obviously 2 or 3 years away.

Sturt fans are hoping Rick has some influence in attracting some quality recruits. (not to mention instilling the hunger in the current playing group )

This is obviously a best case scenario and we all know those are rare in happening but you never know.

Depends on the draft but definately a rover, Ive been saying that for years, haven't had a genuine rover since Tim Nunan, had lots of ruck rovers and centreman.
At least 1 key position backman, we'll probably lose McIntyre and have lost Koops already.
Depending on if Gill goes maybe one more forward (which is another reason I cant understand why Hargs was given the boot).
Because its unlikely we'll have Hudson and because O'Hara has been disappointing there's talk that were talking to another ruckman too.

Basically the priority is in that order too, perhaps with the backman and rover being swapped around.

Think so, someone mentioned it on here and on the Roost, I don't have any inside info though, might pick some up tonight at the B&F.

We,at Port Adelaide need a key forward,badly.Our back half could do with another Corey Achee,the midfield another Clayton and a CHF that plays for the team and team alone.

Apart from players who can kick straight, nothing really.

I rekon we need to be chasin at least 3 for the back 6 ( Begley would be handy ) a key forward and a roving forward pocket / half forward ( Josh Richardson / Klunny ).

The reason for so many down back is so Coady can go up forward and to try and get SOS in the middle !!!

We really missed Whiteman in the middle on a consistanat basis this year through injury so he will make a difference me thinks !!!

Would be nice, but we still lack a defensive aspect to our midfield imho ... I seriously think our back 6 were as good as anyones in 06' yet we regularly had bursts against us (ie 5 goals in 10 minutes)

Any quality player will do. A key position backman to play Full Back or Centre Half Back would be preferable, especially if Hier goes in the draft.

Another inspiring GM to lead the club and replace the one we've just lost, a real estate agent to help us look for social rooms, a team of experienced gaming lawyers to finally give us cashflow and an AA therapist to deal with the consequences of supporting Norwood.

Some guys who can kick and catch wouldn't go astray either.

Quality ruckman and some pace through the midfield, another tall defender if their happen's to be one floating around looking for a new home

has said that he will do preseason with sturt apparantly in view of playing on in 07.

If you have two legs and two arms we will look at you at the moment, age is no problems as we will not picky, once we fill the two sides with able bodies then it could come down to ability

2 KPP - one back, one forward
Ruckman.

Thats the main three. With Evans gone and Eichner probably another 12 months away, we desperately need a key forward and defender. We finally looked set this year, after years of being forced to play under sized players in key defensive spots...then Eichner got injured. We seriously lack quality tall depth. The reserves guys are generally 17-18 year olds that are still a fair way away from playing, though guys like Catterall, Hall and Taylor look decent options down the line.

With Maric most likely playing from now on at the Crows, I think we'll end up needing another eruck to help out the John. I think Smith could turn into a decent 3rd string option from the ressies but probably isnt a 2nd string option.

Norwood need anyone who can free up Brett Zorzi to the centre so he can dominate the SANFL.
