Ad for U19s coaches.

Postby MightyEagles » Sat Nov 04, 2006 9:22 am

In the paper this morning (Sat) there was two ads for U19s coaches.
1 was for North and the other was for the Eagles.
I can understand with the Eagles as it is possible that he is the reserves coach or apart of the coaching staff.
Does anyone know about why there is an opening at North.

No idea why Greg Edwards isn't continuing at North as there have been no announcements - unless he is moving up a possie or two within the Senior Group?

Apparently just wants to focus on Shane's football and support his career in the AFL without any other responsibilities or commitment. Can see how this is viable, as it would be a great disappontment to Greg if he had to miss out on one of Shane's first AFL games due to coaching commitments (providing he debuts next season with his AFL club). Another ridiculous rumour I heard was that he was going out to coach the centrals ressies... utter crap.

Exactly... Centrals would never reappoint him as he has been appointed coach twice (once reserves, once u/19s) and he has left before the season's end on both occasions.
