Interesting if its true. Dunno if having both Cupido and Clive in the same forward line is sustainable. I can see us pushing 30 goals one week and then kicking 5 the next.

NEWS
Port Lands Baird
Port Melbourne has attracted yet another player with AFL experience, signing former Kangaroos big man John Baird for season 2007.
Baird, who played 46 AFL games, was delisted by the Kangaroos at the end of 2005 and had an outstanding 2006 in the SANFL with Port Adelaide Magpies, where he was a close runner-up to former Roos team-mate Jeremy Clayton.
The 192-centimetre key backman has previously played in the TRUenergy VFL with the Box Hill Hawks and will add further depth to the Boroughs as 2007 shapes as a season of promise for last year’s wooden spooners.
Baird is no stranger to TEAC Oval, having played a number of games for Port during the club's alignment to the Kangaroos, which ceased at the end of 2005.
The former Xavier College and Eastern Ranges TAC Cup player has returned to Melbourne to work in the family business.
Port has already recruited dual Liston Trophy winner David Robbins, ex-Port Power Rookie Tim Looby, and former Geelong and Sydney Swans rover David Spriggs, as well key forward Adrian Bonaddio, who returns to the club after spending a year on Adelaide’s Rookie list.

Why has cupido left?
More Money?
The shits with south?
Seems strange to me, when his club takes his report to the supreme court 2 months ago and now he packs his bags and pisses off.
Salary cap probs at South? gets rid of 70K now i suppose

If he has gone (not officially announced yet), the points you made OWW are pertinant, Cupidoll is obviously a quality person to turn his back on South like that.....
The fact remins if he had his head switched on right and was prepared to work he wouldn't be in this league.....

There is a pie shop around the corner and down a bit from Alberton (I think O'Hara works there) and a Hungry Jacks and KFC down a little further.

You get the feeling there may be a few more clubs to add to his resume before his career is over. He just seems to be the type who can't settle into one place for very long.

As long as he plays good footy while wearing the Port Adelaide jumper, who cares.

You're right. We shouldn't care about anyone who plays for Port Adelaide.
