Castle Tavern

I am very pleased to advise members that as of late yesterday the Castle Tavern is finally under the Sturt Football Club umbrella.

This is a major step forward for our Club and along with BarZaar’s will certainly help the Club to mover forward financially.

We can now all concentrate on the business of winning football games.

Do we know if the financial stipulations that the Fricker brothers originally put to Sturt have been improved?

Hopefully for Sturt's sake its changed because allegedly the Fricker brothers wouldn't let a profit go and the original deal that was mooted was probably going to send Sturt backwards more than forwards. I might be talking to someone in the gaming/liquor industry tonight so I'll ask if they know anything.

DOUBLE BLUES RULE.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.
