Woo hoo - one more year.

Wouldn't ya just love to be lining up on them in their last game!!

These boys have been synonymous with an era (both SANFL and at Muttsville) and I for one will genuinely miss them when they're no longer playing in this comp.

no arguing their record, they certainly have had a successful career with the dogs, but the sooner they leave, the sooner the dogs lose that 'auror' of sorts. 8)

Kinda makes it a hollow victory though ... All teams should be aspiring to become better than the best, not beat them when they have waned (lost champion players etc) ... Just the way I view things though mate, I appreciate what ur saying.

There have been a lot better players at Central in the past few years than the Gowans IMO.

I agree with a couple of others in that its good that Chris and James are staying for another year. They not only bring a lot to Central but a lot to the SANFL in my opinion and should be recognised appropriately. I hope (and am sure they will) that the CDFC make it a big year for the lads.
If you ever get a chance have a chat to one/them, great lads who are always friendly and like having a chat about the SANFL.

I have said this too - they are great for the SANFL.
