I believe that Cloke has been in contact with at least 2 clubs. North said no given he had "reasonably" high salary demands and some off field issues despite his family connections via his uncle.

I believe the Bays are going very hard after him but my mail is that he will most likely stay in Vic unless he gets big package.

Agree with Ron and I don't think it would be wise for any SANFL club to be throwing big dollars at Cloke.

They might be talking to him but they are wasting their time - he is not coming to SA. Not Glenelg, not anyone.

any sanfl team chasing cloke would have to be stupid. he is hopeless! lets just hope no sanfl team is stupid enough to sign him up

I'll make a bold statement and say that nobody who has played 76 AFL games would be "hopeless" at SANFL level (providing they aren't injured etc.)

(cue someone to now provide a counter-example :) )

With all the clubs spending up and being close to the cap,,, some one could squeeze him in except the MAGPIES who must be right on it with no room to move

Correct, but that hasn't stopped them in the past and probably won't again this year.

I don't know how many AFL games Craig Burroughs played but he was also a WA State of Origin player and was one of the worsts players I've ever seen at SANFL level.

Anyone remember Tickets. Turned out ok though, but only after Jack gave him a "the word" at 1/2 time one game.

If Cloke hadn't been a father-son selection and Collingwood hadn't felt obliged to persevere with him, he would have only played about 27 AFL games.
