Have been listening to some of the programmes since the 2006 Season finished and the nights devoted to each SANFL side have been huge not to mention some of the un-RPH music being played during the Show
If Phil Herden or ds32 is viewing this topic what date is the next Sturt programme on?
Cheers!

Great stuff Phil and thanks for the info. Will you be continuing throughout the season despite your new appointment at South?
It'd be great to hear you on 5RPH commentating still but it wouldn't leave you much spare time so I'd understand if you weren't.
Praise to RPH

Ditto, Wedgie.
Adds a different dimension to Summer listening. Great to hear the various great characters on-air giving their views, experiences and expectations for the season ahead.
Feb. 1 becomes MUST listening in my house-hold.

Barring South home games Phil will be continuing in the commentary box...the extra Sunday games also help the cause here in 2007

Please note - schedule has been ammended - refer my first post
Round 2 of the clubs will now be in reverse premiership order.
As for my radio commentary.
My "personal" hope is that I will still be on air calling games when there is no clash with South Adelaide.
I would not be available at home games (all on Sunday's) due to other duties.
I may be able to assist with "around the grounds" for away games
Personal preference would be to commentate as few Panther games as possible
Given RPH did 43 games last year in the minor round you could take out all 20 South Time Slots and still have 23 left available.
I should add all of this is to be finalised with the Panthers and RPH closer to the season.
Regards
Phil Herden

Excellent to hear Phil, I dont think anyone would have an issue with you calling Panthers games as you've always managed to call Eagles games in the past right down the line due to your profesionalism. Keep up the great work mate and hope all is going well down at Panther land, I bet you're enjoying the less travel, hope the wife likes seeing you more!

Nup.
I think Smithy like many others that challenge me on various matters expected me to back down or hide in anonymous internet land like most people do but that's not my style.

I hope to be in a position to make an announcement about this soon. All I would suggest to fans of the show is that they make it extremely clear to their clubs and the SANFL, how much they enjoyed "Total SANFL" in 2006 and how much they would like to see it return in 2007.

Let's hope the C31 show does come back. Caught it a few times and it was very informative. Great to see the SANFL back on TV again. Losing it would be really disappointing.
