Jars last chance?

Postby Rushby Hinds » Mon Jan 29, 2007 9:31 am

I was talking to someone @ the Cricket on the weekend, they said that they had heard from an allegedly reliably source that Brenton Phillips has already been earmarked as a future coach at North if the Roosters don’t make the GF this year. Don’t know if this is true or just a possibility.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

So how was BPBRB Borat???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Id rekon he would still have his job even if they only makes the top five - look where he has taken them from to now.

Still has a couple of credits left I would think !!!

I regard Jars very highly, and would think that most North supporters do, too. I reckon he brings passion, energy and common sense to the club.

I hope he stays around a lot longer, whether we make the GF or not (fingers crossed that we DO, of course).

I notice that neither Wedgie,-'er or BPBRP have taken the time to respond to this obsurd allegation, and supposed "good source" the impeccable Borat has drawn this information from.

Truth to the rumour,perhaps?

Geezus, I haven't been online, some of us work during the day unlike you dole bludgers down at Alberton Boonie!

I don't think its a correct rumour but I think it would be an accurate guess as to what may happen, but the board wouldn't make a decision until the end of the year. Only speaking personally but I think nothing short of a flag is acceptable but agree with the guess in that if we make the GF he should be safe.
