Postby Jimmy » Wed Dec 14, 2005 4:01 am

Can some do a mock mini draft on who they think will go where?? now, there are 8 picks correct, so no pick for centrals....

so the order will go

R. Douglas (Clader Cannons)
A Carlile (Murray Bushrangers)
Greg Bentley (Dandenong Stingrays)
Tim Looby (Murray Bushrangers)
Adrian Bonaddio (Oakleigh Chargers )
Tom Logan (Brisbane Lions)
Matt Thomas (Sandy Dragons)
Ryan or Nathan ? Lonie (Hawthorn)

these are the players in the draft...are there more? Of course, this doesnt include the ones taken from SANFL clubs as they will stay with that club ;)

who will take who?

I'll take Tom Logan for Westies, Jimmy.

Over to TB & Co.

R&B Buy a budget

Logan played junior footy for the bays, so we will claim him before the mini-draft please. And I have decided that doesn't stop us from also getting draft pick two in the mini-draft, so we actually get picks 1 and 3.

The Eags would want to have someone who wants to stay here more then a couple of years. Unlike Watts - who was a good player - but wanted to go back to Melbourne.

Hey, I hope we get Looby, and he plays 300 games. At the same year as he retires after captaining us to three premierships, the GFC and the Holdfast Council finally agree to build new toilets behind Snouts hill.

The GFC can then call the toilets "The Looby Loos"

I managed to buy a budget, borat.

I read the budget.

I understand your argument.

Conclusion: Your argumernt is not valid.

I'll still pick Logan for Westies.

Cheers.

GOLD Borat...Looby Loos would be a great venture.

R&B...a SENIOR club official at the GFC is adamant Logan will be ours...via past involvements with the club. I too had my doubts, so I hope this chap did his research before admitting it to Borat and others...

BTW - sure you guys don't want someone else? I heard Logan has a phobia about playing in front of only 4 people...

We'll have to wait and see about Logan, TB.

If he's your player, I'd pick between Bonaddio and Douglas, say Bonaddio.

By the way, I've had a gutful of your constant snide jokes about West only having 4 or 5 supporters.

How many times do I have to say it before it gets through your thick head that we have 6 supporters.

You forgot my brother.

Ah yes that's right...but dragging him off the street from the gutter and sitting him upright "Weekend at Bernie's" style doesn't constitute a 6th fan...

Thought for a minute there you'd indulged in some talk from back in the Bronx, then realised you actually meant your brother...

Checked with SANFL - Tom Logan will not be in mini draft - tied to Glenelg. Only seven recruits will be eligible for the mini draft.

Hooray for that...cheers Ferret...it's been a confusing one for so many of us.

So West would most likely be looking at Carlisle for 1st pick then???

Plan B - my other brother attends one game a year.

Failing that, I know someone who has a friend who used to barrack for us before the Crows started?

I'll secondly confirm that Logan doesn't go in the mini draft and will be on Glenelgs list auto.

It also wouldn't suprise me if North "pass" on their turn, be unprecedented but hardly suprising, last thing we want is another Peel or Gilligan.

Yes, I agree about Logan now.

If we want to do a mock draft, I'll start it off by picking Bonaddio for West, as I previously said.

It would surprise me if North do pass. Why give a possible league player up to a team you may play against in the finals? Especially considering what that team did to you last year with two players picked up in mini-drafts...

That Borat bloke, he's a bit of a wanker sometimes, but whatever he says is normally correct. I rate him highly.

Red&Black, I think you should do the same.

PS It isn't exactly Shaun Rehn who recommended that the young West Ruckman go to Brisbane, he was acting on the advice of someone you know....
