LEE BLAKE
23 year old Norwood footballer is in remission from Leukemia.
Its been 5 years since being diagnosed.
He got a feMALe donor from America for his treatment in late 2005.
Lee has missed out on so much from teenager to a young man, now
its time for him to enjoy life and experiences.
Lets hope he plays 200 games for the legs.

Good luck to Lee.
This story's been covered in the media a couple of times.
A great example of positive thinking and persistence.

Hopefully the Redlegs get behind him 100%...
Similar to the Bombers & Adam Ramanauskas!
I wish the young fella all the best!

Hes playing for Mypolonga in River Murray Football League this year (and maybe even Norwood if his health is up to it). Is a star in country football (has played on and off at Mypo for last 3 to 4 years).

For those that don't know (if Blake was an AFL player this kind of stat would have been included in the article), but he has played 4 League matches for Norwood - Rounds 16 and 17 2001 and Rounds 18 and 20 2004.
