Any idea as to when these will be available in the Advertiser this year?
Will they be doing them?

If they do, it will be about a week or so before Round 1.

Thats if the Advertiser even remembers there is a SANFL competition! Usually to busy falling all over the AFL to bother.

Hopefully they're of better quality than the article in today's paper that claimed that Platten was 1974 Magarey Medallist and 1978 Brownlow Medallist

They're too busy pushing that 'Bring Back State of Origin' palaver...
Just an advertising gimmick to sell more slabs of that cat's piss West End Draught! :drinkers: :vom:

I can't remember a year they didn't have SANFL team posters, but meh, bash away.

That's a mighty effort winning a Magarey Medal at 11 years of age and following it up with a Brownlow at 15. I always knew the kid was good :)

and to think people are talking about this 'Bryce Gibbs' kid, he's nothing compared to a young Platten

What relevance does standing on a jetty have for the Eagles? If they're waiting for their ship to come in again, it could be a long wait

I would have thought anything would have been better than the soaring /flying Eagles poster of last year(although how apt it did turn out to be) .... now that was a shocker

Some players in running shorts and NONE of them wearing club socks.
Very sloppy and unprofessional.
Who is organising this?, the Advertiser or SANFL?
Heres hoping the standard improves.(But I'm not holding my breath)

Why can't they just go back to the customary team photo? Half the players weren't in that photo - Colville, McKenzie for example - and it looks as if they took the photo while on a training run.

There's just no pleasing some people is there.
Free plug for the SANFL, when some people were mooting that the Tiser wouldn't even bother even thought they've been doing it forever.
And then we bag the poster cos it's not professional or whatever.
Come on people - get a grip!
I don't think I've ever seen anyone compliment the people at the Tiser who do do stuff. Or what about the Footy Budget no one ever says they do a good job.
All I read is people bagging the media.
Just be a little balanced guys.

North in a Cafe today, at least its a plug for a sponsor.
I too prefer the tradiational pics, at least in recent years they tried to make them relevent, ie North in a chook house, etc.

Do you really think the Footy Budget does a good job? It's thinner than Karen Carpenter's drum stick
