Roosterland can somebody help me with the truth....

Postby am Bays » Mon Mar 05, 2007 7:39 pm

Hmm living so far far away from the action of Adelaide its not often rumours cross the border but this one has come my way so if anyone can confirm or deny I would appreciate it...

Unsubstantiated rumours coming across the border that the North Board and Jars aren't quite reading from the same page regarding some support staff appointments and the words "un-supportive" are being thrown around in case expectations aren't met at Menzies Cresent... I susppose if he's [going to go] down Jars will Fight Fight Fight

Being a Southern Fluerieu boy, my Wirrina contacts say it apparently wasn't "all for one, one for all" regarding abstinance and discipline regarding starting times for morning training at a recent club camp, apparently the players were ready one morning but some of coaching staff weren't - due to a few [hic] quiet ones the night before....

Could it be the discipline that saw the club climb out of the depth it was in circa 2003 is now starting to unravel as the club is no longer in survival mode???

I'm sure the North posters will set me right on these unfounded rumours, thanking you in advance.....

I don't like to peddle rumours but it is unusual for SANFL rumours to get this far over the border.....

PS My source has been able to confirm that Mouse is at best gone for 4 weeks or at worst the Snouts Louts player of the year award will have a new winner this year......

Can you give us any names Tassie? I cannot think of any member of the coaching staff that i could see doing this but perhaps i am forgetting someone. Or perhaps not and this is just another piss poor rumour designed to make other clubs feel better about the fact they couldn't turn around their situation as well as North have.

Nah, no names mentioned so it could all be hot air, as I freely admitted in the first post....

I was hoping someone closer to the truth, like BPBRB, Punky, yourself or Wedgie could set me straight...

Nup, haven't heard anything myself, board members I've spoken to at times are 100% behind Jars and whenever Jars talks he's 100% behind the board too.
Ive only spoken to 3 or 4 players this year and nothing has been mentioned.
Be pretty funny if it was true after Jars got rid of Hargs last year, at least he wasn't late for any training sessions because of his late night effort.

So only some times they are 100% behind Jars?
And the rest of the time they are NOT behind Jars then, according to Wedgie

P.S. Buy a Comma!
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

So what you are saying Wedgie is that "the NA board fully support Andrew Jarman" 8)
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Definately, no doubt about that, I'd expect all 9 board would be fully supporting their coach at this time of the year (maybe with the exception of South).
