An "interesting" selection of best players for us. Could it be that they were the only 4 Glenelg players the Sunday Mail journalist recognized at the game? :?

my comment of the two games i saw

friday i thought north looked better & a lot quicker (the quickest of the 4 sides i saw) than port

sat, i thought overall the sides were even in a sometimes scappy game & both sides have got some exciting new players

after the first week north look the best side i've seen, yeah i know port won but scores dont worry me in trials its what you do & how you use it that i look for plus off course teams use around 30 players in a game etc

Salary issues aren't the Coaches job. Bubba has dropped a lotta kilos and at this stage it looks like it's paid off.
It's no use speculating about the coulda woulda shouda's, he'll hurt a lotta teams this year if his extra fitness can break him out of the double teaming he copped last year.

As they say in the movies "If you love it but can't afford it set it free and get the best transfer fee you can". Or something like that.

Here's a pressie for our Bloods supporters.

Hard to tell what to take away from yesterday's trial match - neither side selecting a full-strength team and even those that played spent much time on the bench. As Pyman said last week in our interview, trial matches are for experimenting with different line-ups and structures.

Damian may have lost some weight but Prokopec looks to be making up for it. Looks the biggest I've seen him.

To his credit Rowey was giving it a big wrap this morning. All the trial games were mentioned. They were inundated (well, a few) with callers who said they were sick of the sanitized AFL and would throw their support behind the SANFL this year.

the continual bagging of 5aa is getting a bit tiresome, howabout being a bit original and pick on something else and running with it :x

NP Coorong. I actually like the jumpers, but I'm not sold on the logo.
Maybe because it looks too much like Devil from a Phantom comic.
