More chance of infighting stopping on The Roost than Tassie entering the SANFL![]()

As for the SANFL, you could almost argue a case for inclusion of the NT. At least geographically it makes a modicum of sense. But considering Tassie is getting a bit desperate I would have thought.

Yeah i dont think so. I think it makes more sense geographically to have Tassie join ahead of NT. Our season is in NTs off season. I can see quite a few dramas with that.
I wouldnt be opposed to Tassie joining the league.

Sojourner wrote:If it happens I think that it will be because the Kangaroos will no longer use the Devils as their reserve side due to the restructurinig of the VFL. Logisitically allocating North Melbourne players to play and train in Tasmania is a nightmare, so when the review of all the state leagues is looked at, that is likely to be an area where a correction is made.
It could be worth doing it for a season to see if it works, if successfull it may well increase interest in the SANFL, yet the strength of the team may be interesting, Tasmania flogged the SANFL last time, so I am not sure what level they are at now, weaker, stronger or the same?
