Apparently has done his knee....
Family connections are saying it's very bad, possibly career threatening.

Would be very sad if it was the case. Big loss for Sturt too.
Unlucky not to have been drafted last season.
Even if he is able to play again, could end his chances of getting drafted, as he'll need a fair bit of time off.

Hope it's not the case.

Any Blues out there no anything about this?

knew he was out for the season but the career threatening part is news to me.

just very disappointed for the lad....he was set for a huge year after being one of our few bright spots last year.

still sinking in really...

let's hope the career threatening thing's completely wrong.

I'm sure that he'll be getting THE VERY best medical care for his knee.

The fact that he wasn't even rookie listed was staggering and then for this to happen in the preseason is just unbelievable.

Well in Nick Swingler Sturt have the best head trainer in the State, let alone the SANFL, and their medical staff is top notch too, very experienced. David Martin their ortho is bloody good, and Andrew Clarkson is a very competent physio.

Seriously if Sturt haven't got the best off field medical staff in SA, they are in the GF

He looked to be absolutely switched on last Saturday, as if he had a point to prove about his not being drafted. Huge loss to Sturt this year.

Nah, I heard a thing about Sheedy from a couple of sources but I shouldn't have mentioned it, I hope for the SANFL and Sturt's sake it isn't true, nothing sinister, he might not have made up his mind yet.

I think the fact that he's still playing in trial games is a good sign for Sturt, as I said before, there's nothing sinister involved just a lifestyle issue and what he wants to do this year.

Absolute disgrace both Hurley and Reischbeith are not on AFL lists.

Can throw Zak Heir in on that aswell.
