SA Footy

Has anyone else had difficulty accessing FootySA today? Seems to have disappeared.

Seems to be OK for me though the front news story hasn't been updated in some time

Have no problems accessing it now

I cant remember my password... and I have sent thru so many emails, to which have fallen on deaf ears.
I dont think they check their emails for new registrations either..

Yeah we changed it over, I think most people knew it was coming so shouldn't come as a shock. We are not going to be around for portion of the season, all four of us will be overseas making it impossible to run the site, tipping competition and monitor the forum and that kind of thing. A lot of people have put work into the wiki so we don't want to lose that so we have kept it as the front page.

CA for what it is worth, yours, Nai, Biggs and DA?? (I hope I've got that right) efforts haven't gone unappreciated over the last few years. Your contribution to SANFL footy is appreciated, especially by those of us who live outside the state and rely on yours and this site for their SANFL information.

To the footysa.com crew,

Well done on your efforts over the past four years.

The site was certainly pioneering in bringing SANFL supporters from many clubs together in mostly "friendly" banter.

Thanks also for putting up my Pokies Article again..... brought back some wonderful memories of the night footysa.com rocked the SANFL media community winning the "print" news award back in 2004.

Each year when the SANFL list their award winners I will look upon the listing footysa.com most fondly.

Also Liked the bit about South's "billion" dollar redevelopment.

I concur with PhilH, the early days of footysa were great. A day wouldn't go by without me and TB sledging each other over whose side was the worst ( not the best ) Thanks for the work you put in fellas, without your site this one would have taken a lot longer to get this big.

As ca said, we just don't have the time these days, maybe in the future, but not now..... the wiki is a good place to put reviews and scores and things, so we'll try to keep that going.
