Zebras aiming for historic fourth flag

SANDRINGHAM begins its mission today to equal one of the oldest records in Australian football — four consecutive premierships.

Sure, I cant recall any club going better than 4 premierships in a row.

Come on Barto, Sandringham are a much bigger name in Australian Rules Football than small fry clubs such as Port and Sturt

That too.

Too the sooky la la Norwood supporter above that, it wasn't about Sturt. Port won a few in a row as well. This about Victoria appropriating all football history.

I could understand if they were talking about no VFL/AFL club having done it, as that is to be expected from them. But rating a VFA club above and SANFL one? **** that.

article says it all

The article explains VERY CLEARLY that they are talking about the VFA/VFL and the fact it hasn't taken place for so long over there ..more than a 100 years so it is indeed a very old record in football terms...dont get ya knickers in a knot too much for gods sake .
