Great Initiative By the CFDC

I was looking at next years membership details for next year, when I discovered what they have to offer for next year.

U DOGS PACKAGE $244
- Adult Membership (all membership benefits).
- Elizabeth Oval Home Match Ticket.
- 1 Pie or Pasty Voucher for each home match at Elizabeth Oval.
- 4 drink vouchers (beer of soft) for each home match at Elizabeth Oval.
- Exclusive U Dogs scarfe (not for sale).
- Exclusive U Dogs Cap (not for sale).
- Discount on Club Merchandise.
- Acknowledgement in Annual Report and Bulldog Bulletins.
- Members Parking (subject to availability).

SEASON TICKET $117 (CONC. $82)
- Adult Membership.
- Season Ticket to all Bulldog Matches.

HOME MATCH TICKET $92 (CONC. $59)
- Adult Membership.
- Elizabeth Oval Home Match Ticket.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP $50
- Membership of the Football Club.
- Membership of Grand Central.
- Membership Badge.
- Membrship Sticker.
- Three editions of the Bulldog Bulletin.
- Annual Report.
- Loyalty Bonus Points at Grand Central.
- 5% discount on all food & drink at Grand Central.
- NEW 2006 Calendar/Poster.
- NEW Bulldogs Rewards Booklet.
- NEW Petrol Discount Card.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP $25
- Birthday card.
- FREE entry to all Bulldogs Games.
- Two editions of the Bulldog Bulletin.
- Membership Sticker.
- Membership Badge.
- Invitation to school holiday clinics.
- Entry in the draw to be our "Mascot for the day".
- Breakfast after training with the players.
- NEW 2006 Calendar/Poster.
- NEW Pie & Coke Canteen Voucher.

Now the item that appealed to me the most was with the U DOGS Pack. I mean that is absolutely great value.
For the 2006 season we have 8 home games. So if we use a $$ value of $3.50 for each beer. That makes $14 worth of drinks. If we say $2 for a pie, that would bring the total to $16. Multiply that by 8, then we get $128. Minus that from the $244, that leaves $116. That is the same price as the Normal Home and Away ticket. Plus as an added bonus you get a scarfe and cap which would set you back probably around $50 all up.

I think that this is great value.
This way you do not have to gather up the courage and ask the missus for drinking money !!

I am not sure that the Home Match Ticket is good value, as there are only 8 home games. However you do get the benefits of being a member of your club.

I am not sure if this is being done by other clubs, but I do think that it is a great way for any club to attract more members to home games and also create more members.
Doin it Doggie Style !! 2008

I think all clubs should have more options for memberships and well done to Centrals for implementing it this year, I know Norwood have had quite a few categories for a few years now.
Unfortunately North just have the normal memberships with home and season tickets.
If North had similar I'd definately fork out the extra $120 and I'd imagine a lot of others would too.
Might not happen in a hurry as these days the club doesn't need money so probably won't make the effort which is a shame.
(I hope I'm suprised one day!)

I believe you'll find your home match ticket is for 9 games and for Centrals fans the 9th game is Anzac day at Adelaide Oval (Centrals v Eagles At Elizabeth transfered - thus Eagles dont play at Elizabeth this year)

Eagles Home Match Ticket gets 7 games at Woodville, when we play Norwood at Adelaide and when we play Glenelg at Thebarton to make up the 9 home games.

On checking the closest we have to the U Dogs package is our Captain's Club.
However that is more the first level Sponsor package at $300 rather than a membership package - but excellent value and a good starting level to be an official club sponsor.

yeah i liked the UDogs package but i would rather pay maybe an extra 50 bucks and have a season pass to all CDFC home and away games, you pay 244 and add on to that the away games you end up paying about an extra 80 bucks compared to the season package which is 117 and really all you miss out on is drink and food freebies, a scarfe and cap.

Centrals should be talking to the Western Bulldogs or the Kangaroos and trying to get in the AFL. Winning all of these SNAFL flags proves jack shit and if the club is fair dinkum it should have a crack at the top league, but then again, they'd have to face some true competition and we all know they don't want that.

LMAO at the Tinpot dynasty. Might as well be in Premier League boys.

regards,

Does the "members Carpark" come with on site security? If so that package is cheaper than most excesses, might buy it for the one and only trip in 2006 and save myself some cash and avoid having to sit on broken glass for the ride home, presuming the car is still there...

Would have gotten the pack if it was a full season ticket. Not worth it with just a home match ticket, I'll just stick to the standard season ticket package for now.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Fellas if you want true value for money do the following:

Find an absolutely dodgy tafe course to enrol in externally (ie a course on the net, not at the tafe campus itself), pay whatever annual fee it is, then reap the benefits of student pricing year round.

Trust me it'll pay itself off in no time.

If you're too stinge even for that, enrol in a uni course, get the student ID then withdraw before census date - doesn't cost you a cent. But if you do it a few years in a row you get permanently banned from the uni :p

$2 entry to SANFL = win.

Cripes, REB. That's a bit rich coming from a supporter of a club that talked to Sturt to get into the AFL.

Cooper's Stadium would now make Norwood a Pisspot Dynasty.
