THIS SUNDAY
I’ll just let you know what we’re all about briefly… I’m sure you’ve seen the new SANFL ad that has just hit the airwaves… titled “The Only Day That Countsâ€, we see Neil Kerley in a change room lecturing a bunch of footy players. That was the first ad out of our SANFL campaign.
We are now currently in production of the next ad which will go on a rotation with the Kerley ad and air in a couple of weeks on all three FreeTV stations: Seven, Nine and Ten. This one is all about tribalism and getting into the spirit of the game. The SANFL are really excited about this one and so are we! As you know, we are filming it this Sunday 15 April @ Unley during the Glenelg and Sturt Reserves game from 11:30am. We want to make sure that every team is represented as colourful and as enthusiastic as possible. If you could round up as many fanatical supporters as possible that would be fantastic. It will be a hot day, but we really need to see lots of colour and lots of Glenelg merchandise……….. Scarves, beanies, jackets, jumpers, jerseys, socks……….. etc, etc – AND the icing on the cake would be seeing lots of colourful faces. If you know a few people who wouldn’t mind painting their faces black and yellow bring them along because we really want to represent every team with a real spirited and passionate group of supporters.
.
Cheers,
Jen

Hey Borat (or anyone else),
do you know if the full ad is being filmed at Unley or if they'e doing filming in several places to get colours of all clubs?
I'd assume they wouldn't be expecting supporters other than Glenelg or Sturt to rock up to Unley?
The reason I ask is I just checked my mobile and Ive got messages from the SANFL and a lady who's involved with the making of the ad asking me to ring back to see if I can coordinate North supporters for their ad.

Good question.
I don't know.
Presumably will be held at separate ovals.

slight change of plans, the crew will be setting up at 11.30, but the add wont be filmed until 12.30 now to allow more people to get there.
All good!

I talked to Annalise from the ad agnecy (KOJO) today and after spending a couple of minutes at Unley she advised that their cameras would be spending most of the day at Prospect to get footage for the ads.
They're expecting to get heaps of Roosters fan with perhaps one Westies fan in the middle for their footage but Im keen for as many West and North fans to get out their with their colours for the ad.
Try and congregate down the South West end of the ground to make it easier for them to set up.
Cheers.
