an incident in the last qtr of the west game i reckon has seen patrick wiggins play his last game of footy for west and possibly in the sanfl

he got done for headbutting apparantly, then charged off the field, had a go at a guy in the crowd then proceeded to the changerooms not before removing his jumper and then....left the ground, boots and shorts still on...

anyone there want to comment

Exactly what I heard Jimmy. Apparently he was dragged of the field by his own coach

Dash was there

Looked very very bad, claims black and blue he made no contact, west players backed him up and on the oval the roosters laughed and did not blue over it, was not good after the report but to spit the chewy like this no matter is not good.

Wiggo sure has been a high maintenance recruit. 3 years ago at the western bulldogs he really looked like a player. Not very popular with the westies fans though.

Didnt he kick 8 on debut for Westies? Must have gone to his head as hes barely played another good game after that. I dont think ive ever seen somebody pay so much attention to what people in the crowd say. Ive seen him three times have a go at someone in crowd and thats just at Magpies games.

I was there...saw Wiggins get done holding the ball and rightly too. For some reason
he lost the plot and thew his head forward which from where i was looked rather nasty.
But after getting dragged he was copping it from North supporters which made things
worse. He then proceeded towards the change rooms through the crowd who were still
giving it to him..He started to turn back on whoever the North supporters were on 2
occasions before being ushered away by West officials...I saw no spitting from Wiggins
towards any North supporter and as he passed by me he was swearing black and blue
he did not make contact with any North player.

Nothing too out of the ordinary from what I have heard from "Your goal Wiggins" before.

So was Lucas Herbet, integrity obviously isn't a big requirement in the police force.

Those that saw the incident reported that it did not look good at all, for Wiggins without a doubt, but apparently a couple of Rooster people on the bench did not help matters by trying to get under his skin as he came off. Reports suggest he may well have played his last game at the club. Apparently not the only storm about to break over the troubled group either.

Dont know if he made contact or not as I was too far away.Too bad if the North bench bagged him (I would expect nothing less and bloody well hope they did under the circumstances). The go through the crowd scene was one of the most pathetic things I have seen at a football ground(should say I did not see the man spit however). The through the crowd routine was a very serious incident as far as I am concerned and I would give the tool 4 weeks just for that alone.Full credit to the North supporters should be given as it could have been very nasty .It would have taken only 1 other idiot but thankfully idiots are in rare supply at prossie

Or the idiots are more intent on worrying about getting another beer or socialising, I didn't even see the incident but yes was told about it by dozens of others including Westies fans.
