Ill excuse the pun there!!
Yes they have done well BUT they have beaten the wooden spooner from last year and another non-finalist from last year on their home ground, nothing really earth shattering

Hard at the ball, tackle hard and break open
The skills let them down at times but they are genuine improvers in 2007
As for Mcgowan he was a successful player at CD
He was from what Ive heard partially responsible for getting the EG up in a g/f
He has ST playing with passion

Letting Rick go as a player wasn't half as bad a decision as letting him go as one of the coaching staff.
At least Nunan had a couple of flags to show for his efforts unlike the current Coach.

I can't understand why supporters are not happy with him..
I know he wasn't responsible for improving the club financially by the way of pokies, but he brings the punters in by playing a good brand of footy and promoting the SANFL and his club at any opportunity.
Would you rather a quiet coach and North finish 9th or Jars and compete in finals ???

I'd rather a coach (be he quiet or not) that wins a premiership.
If you look at most of my posts re the coach Im backing him up against criticism more often than not but people tend to forget those.
A better motivator of players you'd never find.

My post wasn't directed at any particular poster, just what I read on other threads that North supporters (none named) are not happy with him and his mouth etc.....
I reckon he's great and I hope he coaches for years to come.
