Nice Back Pedal from Rucci

After lambasting Barrie's opinion earlier this year and not publishing Barrie's quotes in their full context to save himself embarassment I was amused to read this today:

Rucci's Roast

"cockofthenorth"

North Adelaide deserves great credit for being pro-active with its website - including a matchday scoreboard - that rates as the SANFL's best internet site. And while he has only been intending it to be for Roosters fans, all football observers should hit onto triple Magarey Medalist Barrie Robran's blogs where his humour and observations on football are much needed in this world. Robran's weekly match reports to North fans outside of SA and around the world are an extraordinary bonus.

I thought if you went into reverse that quickly after going forward at a rapid rate of knots you'd blow your engine out? Looks like either:
a) Rucci is eating humble pie realising he stuffed up or
b) Was told from the powers that be at his work to take the opposite tact

Im leaning more towards b as a doesn't sound at all like him.

With a back flip like that he should be in politics.

Maybe he's realised that Punky knows where he lives and that Punky's modus operandi involves matches and fire accelerants.........

I think Rucci hopes we have forgotten about his earlier effort and that history will only remember the last thing he wrote.

I stopped reading Rucci's columns ages ago.........nothing but rubbish most of the time. If there was another daily paper I could read I would buy it!

The News was a great paper......was always better than the Advertiser!

Go back to Italy Rucci and stay there.......power feral!
