The team to beat in 2007

Postby eaglehaslanded » Sat Apr 21, 2007 12:34 am

I know it's only early days with only 2 round being played so far, but I thought i'd put this one out there to get others points of view. I must say that after seeing the round 2 match between Eagles and Port @ Woodville the maggies seem very definately the team to beat this season. Toughness galore, leg speed and sillky smooth ball skills to boot, they will very definately be hard to beat and if I was running a book on the premiership they would have to be my favourites.

Its still early, but you are right the pies look very good
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Port will be found out when they come up against Centrals.

History reapting its self.
I had a gloating power fan I mean port fan have ago at me work .Funny thing last year I said Port did the same thing to us at Thebie. In fact they looked this good until round 6 or 7 then fell in a hole.
I then went further and said both North and glenelg did the same thing to us last year in round 1 and 2. And I confirmed we were crap couldnt argue with him.
He went back to his work confused like hell.

To quote doggies fans from 2006 the year does not start until round 10 .

And I am not looking forward to anzac day just yet.

Yes I think I made that call too early. Geeez Sturt are looking good 3-0 start to season. Will have to wait until each team plays each other before i re-asess that call. Would be hoping the Eags can do a job on the Dogs on Anzac Day.

Bloody oath, I'll second that. She's really beginning to grow on me. I especially like the second time she has to pull at the zipper again, because it's sticking a little. Isn't there a part two to that clip? I've been waiting for the sequel for about a month now.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
