And I thought Glenelg's toilet's couldn't get any worse...

The last few years at the southern end they've had 2 big blocks of portable toilets, one for males, one for females, and it was inadequate to say the least.
This year the Glenelg Football Club have managed to go even worse by having 6 individual cubicles where the toilet seat is bolted down to the cistern for both women and men.
Hard to believe that they could have gone backwards but they have.
An absolute disgrace to their fans and the SANFL and I hope they fix it in a bloody hurry.

I didn't even see it myself - learned a long time ago to squirt in the clubrooms. Nevertheless I think the finger of blame should be pointed squarely at Holdfast Bay council in this case. The GFC had planned to have the new toilet block in use by now, I believe that the reason it has not yet been installed is due to the council dragging its arse. I stand to be corrected.

All the same I can't wait to see how it copes with 5000 Port fans next week. I ought to sell catheters at the gate, I'd make a mint

Mate, my issue isn't against the Glenelg FC, as you point out its a council issue. North used to have a workable roofless toilet that catered for everyone at Prossie but the council stuffed it up.
I might cop some flack from my fellow North fans but the Bay Oval is my favourite SANFL Oval, as Prospect is a run down hole these days despite having a great atmosphere and great service from volunteers (or paid staff) in the various booths.
It'll be interesting to see how Thebby copes on Wednesday.

I just hope they're not doing that on those non-liftable seats Wedgie mentioned....

Well, i quite enjoyed the privacy of the portaloos...compared to the set up we've had for the last however many years.

I was stoked with $1.50 snags on the barby.
Not so much with the $5.00 cans.
