Being a bit slow it has taken me a while to learn the rules. Some others may benefit to know what they are:
1. The umpires are always wrong.
2. The writers in the Advertisers are always wrong except when stating that the umpiring was poor.
3. When lower clubs like Sturt or North have a win all supporters must come out and praise their teams and coaches ad nausium.
4. If the Advertiser gives teams mentioned in rule 3 praise the paper is wrong for not going far enough.
I think that's it maybe I've missed some - feel free to add any.

All supporters except North maybe, there's quite a few North supporters who aren't Jar's fans.

I was wrong once, did pick Glenelg to be bottom last year but hey, in the wash up they didn't play finals, close enough.
I did something similar for Footysa once and its on their Wiki, I'll have to look it up and amend it for this place.

Wasnt a rules as such, was an FAQ, had to take quite a bit out of it as a lot isn't applicable on here, its not as funny without all the bits taken out, feel free to add though:
Who runs FootySA?
This is debatable, even though the mods and Site Admins claim to run it
Does it matter which team I support?
Yes. North, Central, Glenelg and Sturt are fully booked - we are taking no new fans for these teams. Eagles, Norwood, South and West are all recruiting and will accept new fans even if you're an illiterate lamer. North support requires an application form but a job is required as well as an above average IQ. Port Adelaide supporters are always needed, SAFooty is on the lookout for at least one with all their teeth and a job, we've been waiting for 18 months and haven't found one yet.
What if my team hasn't won a premiership recently?
You are a sad case and will not ever win an argument on here. Deductive logic dictates that you have no credibility and you will always be defeated by the "When was the last time your team won a premiership?" retort. There is no comeback to this.
Do I have to confine my discussion to the thread topic?
No. The rule-of-thumb for any thread is that it will last just 5 posts before going completely off-topic. Beware of Sturt, North or Glenelg fans as they intentionally hijack your threads. You may feel the urge to respond to a dead topic many hours after the original post but this is pointless as no-one ever checks back to see what you're responding to. The key here is to quote into your post the part of the original message to which you are responding, otherwise just move on.
Can I use emoticons and common net abbreviations?
If your post is humourously abusive towards someone, you'd better put a smiley or a *LOL* at the end. Many flame wars have started through someone missing the humour in being called a slapnut, tosser, dicknose, etc.
Do trolls frequent this forum?
No. LOL

And there's the lots of Eagles fans that don't like Fuller.
Do any North fans say that North won't win a flag under Jars?

Not out and out but there are a few that saying if he doesn't win it this year then its time to move on.
I think a few question our style of game under Jars which while pretty to watch hasn't been proven on the big stage against the powerhouses in Central and the Eagles.
