...for those that buy the Sunday Mail, next to each clubs name where the scores, goals and best players are, what was next to Port Adelaide?

Hooray! We beat an AFL team!

(They had the Port Power icon instead of the Magpie icon for those who don't read the paper)

Plus the Sunday Mail has the goalkickers wrong - Vlatko kicked 5,4 and 3 in 3 games this year but only has 8 in the list of leading goalkickers. I also noticed no crowd figures were given.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

I was sure the rest of this sentence was going to be "how long it has been since a thread about Sturt, their players, their social activities, toilet habits or anything whatsover, has been started by SturtPeter"

Ive seen Bays fans were Brisbane, Western Bulldogs and Richmond gear in the last year, what's the difference?
At least the Power have 2 colours in common with the Maggies unlike the Bulldogs or Lions.

they/we probably have worn other stuff, i just think it is fascinating that they go to port (sanfl) games wearing port (afl) gear, would they wear port (sanfl) gear to port (afl) matches ?

i'm not having a go i'm just amused & fascinated by it because they keep telling us they have nothing to do with each other :? :? :? :?

Definately did when I went to a few Power games in the late 90s, might have changed though.
I don't find it fascinating as its pretty well known that Port Magpies and Port Power share a lot of supporters coming from the same area and AFL gear does have a larger range of merchandise to purchase.

Also, even worse IMHO is that Glenelg changed their song to Richmond's song which doesn't even have the same colours as Glenelg (Yellow & Black as opposed to Black & Gold).
A few supporters wearing AFL gear is fair enough but a club actually selling its soul like that official is beyond forgiveness IMHO.
They didn't even do their own version, just use the exact same recording as Richmond!

i actually agree with that, but according to a 'club source' 'tigerland' is the theme song & 'now we are the boys' is the club song :? :? :?
